Vision Care Insurance
What is Vision care Insurance? Vision insurance covers a routine eye exam with a refraction. Most vision insurances will not cover just the refraction, as they want you to have the complete eye examination. Some vision plans also cover contact lenses and/or eyeglass frames and lenses. Also, some vision plans will pay toward, in part or in full for the fitting and/or evaluation of contact lenses. Each person’s vision insurance plan is different. We will ask you to contact your vision insurance carrier to find out exactly what is covered and what your cost responsibility will be.

We contact your insurance carrier prior to your visit to verify your coverage and to ascertain your cost responsibility. All costs not covered by your insurance will be collected at the time of your visit.

We are in network with the following Vision Insurances

  • Aetna Health Vision Plan (This does not include Cole Vision)
  • Cigna Healthplan Vision (This does not include Vision Service Plan)
  • Coast to Coast Discount Vision Plan
  • Davis Vision
  • Highmark Blue Shield Vision plans
  • National Vision Administrators
  • Superior Vision Services

We can provide care to you even when we do not participate with your Vision Care Insurance. We will ask for payment in full at the time of your visit and provide you with a complete paid statement including your diagnosis and treatment which can be submitted to your Vision Insurance plan for your reimbursement.
